Budtenders

The Woods is looking to fill a handful of budtender positions with experienced candidates. Previous budtender, server, bartender and retail sales experiences will be highly valued in our selection process.

Essential Functions:

• Budtenders are the face of our business and will be responsible for ensuring every customer is given the time and attention needed for the best customer experience possible. Budtenders are required to conduct business operations in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as with state regulatory standards. All positions report to the general manager of the dispensary.

Job Qualifications:

• Customer service and compliance is the top priority. Having a positive attitude with customers and co-workers. Contributes to overall dispensaries goals and meets or exceeds individual goals. Responsible for overall store cleanliness including restrooms, backroom and sales floor. Takes initiative to stay informed regarding new or existing products and is knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits to better serve customers

Job Requirements & Preferences:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Prefer to have candidates with retail, restaurant or service-related experience
• Prefer a High School diploma
• Open availability including nights, weekends and most holidays
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs

Job Setting:

• Downtown Marcellus retail storefront working with customers and team
• Continuous mobility through the dispensary daily including but not limited to standing, kneeling, crouching throughout the shift

• Top performing Budtenders will have the opportunity to move into a sales floor lead position. From sales floor lead they’ll have the opportunity to be promoted to assistant manager and on to general manager.
